Day 1 - Visit in Ulaanbaatar

Arrival at the airport, meeting with our driver. Transfer to your hotel, settling in, and rest. We will take you in the asian restaurant. Let's immerse ourselves in the heart of the Mongolian history, in the wonderful National History Museum.  Walk in the centre of Ulan-Bator. Discovery of Gengis Khan Square and the House of Parliament. Enjoy a Mongolian traditional show at Tumen Ekh theatr: folkloric dances, contortion, and of course khoomi, the overtone singing. Welcome dinner in Mongolian style restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.

   Day 2 - Ulaanbaatar-Khogno Khan

Ulaanbaatar - Khogno Khan 280 km 4hours

Today we will drive to Khogno Khan National park. We arrive at the splendid rocky formations of Khogno Khan. Discovery of the park: semidesert steppes, taiga, stunning rocky formations, 80km long sand dunes, are characteristic of this arid area nicknamed "Mini-Gobi". Walk until Erdene Khambiin Monastery. Visiting a local nomad family conversing about their unique lifestyle of the local area. They’re very hospitable friendly hosts which they will offer a traditional delicacy made of camel’s milk. Camel-back trek along the sand dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai. Overnight in the ger with a local family.

   Day 3 - Khogno Khan-Kharkhorin

Khogno Khan - Kharkhorin 92km 2h

Today we will drive to Kharkhorin. Journey to Kharkhorin, the former capital of Mongolia. The legendary city of Genghis Khan was founded in 1220 and was one of the stages of the silk road. Visit of Erdene Zuu Monastery, built in 1586 by a nomad prince. The Chinese and Tibetan-inspired buildings are surrounded with 108 sacred stupas. Visit of the Museum of Kharkhorin. We’ll be staying overnight in ger camp by Orkhon river.

   Day 4 - Kharkhorin-Arkhangai

Kharkhorin- Chuluut 117km 2h

 Drive to Tsetserleg town, its capital of the Arkhangai province. We will drive to Taikhar Rock (30 km from Tsetserleg). Taikhar Rock is a large granite over 18 m high rock formation. Geologically, the rock was separated by Tamir river systems in millions years from north side of the mountain. Afternoon we will drive to the Khorgo-Terkh National Park (161 km for 2 hours). On the way, we will stop at Chuluut River Canyon scenic spot. Overnight in the ger with a local family.

   White Lake

Tsetserleg - White Lake 180km 4h

The Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur is also known as Great White Lake in the Khangai Mountain range in central Mongolia with relatively pure fresh water. The lake is 16 km wide, about 4-10m deep with its deepest point at 28m and over 20kms in a length. It is flooded and the lake has pike and other fishes. Hike along the lake’s shores. Overnight in the ger camp by lake.

   Day 5 - Khorgo Volcano & relax day

Today after breakfast, we possibly arrange trek to the Khorgo volcano. Once we get there we will climb to a volcanic crater, the Khorgo at 2100m. From the summit there opens a splendid view over the landscape and the lake and rest of the day free. Afternoon arrive at a local yak herder family, then get involved in the activities of your family – help with milking yaks and watch the nomads making curds and yogurts. Overnight in ger with a local family.

   Day 6 - Khorgo-Jargalant

White Lake - Jargalant 80 km 3h

After breakfast we will drive to Jargalant soum, visit of Jargal Jiguur hot springs, sulphar springs that emerge from the ground (300m) at 70 degrees Celsius. Facilities include outdoor baths (male and female), showers and accommodation. We will visit a local horsemen family where you have an opportunity to experience their way of life, their culture and traditions. Dinner is real authentic Mongolian barbecue, prepared in the traditional style with hot stones. Overnight in the ger with a local family.

   Day 7 - Jargalant-Khuvsgul Lake

We offering camel riding, horse trekking and hiking tour based on local community. Nomadic families live in the area are main parts of the tours. They will supply camels, horses, meals, and accommodation for tourists.


Jargalant - Khuvsgul Lake 280km 4 hours

Today, we will drive to Khuvsgul Lake, the deepest and purest lake in Mongolia. About midway along border between Mongolia and Russian Siberia, in a gigantic stone bowl nearly 110km long and almost 40km wide, lies 3% of the all the fresh water on earth Lake Khusgul. The lake region is home to an enormous variety of plants and animals. You will have 2 days for relaxing and enjoying in the end of tour. Overnight in the ger camp by lake.

   Day 8 - Journey to Khuvsgul Lake

After breakfast  we will take a boat tour to see local reindeer in the deep taiga forest.

Reindeer are herded for their antlers, a lucrative medicinal material as well as for their milk and meat. You have a chance to ride reindeer and take your memorable pictures.  
Afternoon we will be hiking and climbing up to the top of the back mountain of the lake is unforgettable. You will hike over a beautiful and fully covered forest of Siberian larch. It is optional to hire a horse riding or kayaking.

   Day 9 - Fly back  to Ulaanbaatar

Drive back to Murun the capital of Khuvsgul province for your return flight to Ulaanbaatar. Rest of the day free. We will take you in the restaurant of your choice. If you would like to do some shopping for souvenirs and cashmeres in Ulaanbaatar with our guide, you can go.

   Day 10 - Departure

Have a nice journey Breakfast at the hotel. We go with you to the international airport of Ulaanbaatar. The transfer can be organized at the time you want, according to the schedule of your flight.
